Tiger Eye History

Unleash your inner Guardian

Found in the early 1800's in South Africa, Tiger Eye has been used by various African Tribes. In one tribe, they decorate their warriors with a Tiger Eye amulet to emphasize their strength and courage. Feats that would earn one such decoration would be to fight off a stray elephant or protect the tribe from an aggressive lion.

Medicine men and other wise men from African tribes wear Tiger Eye because they believe it brings them clarity. Clarity to more easily navigate through life, avoiding obstacles and more effectively deal with the difficulties people sometimes bring upon ourselves. This clarity helps the wise men to guide their tribes through life more effectively.

Although most of us don't have dangerous encounters with elephants or lions, the properties of Tiger Eye remain useful today. This timeless stone is for those who desire the attributes of a true Guardian:

    How to measure your wrist

We get asked a lot by our customers on how to measure their wrist, so we wrote a little 'how-to'.

When measuring your wrist, stay as close to your hand as possible, like so (the circumference in the picture is 6.5 inches.)

When ordering, please specify the exact number on the measuring tape, we will make sure your bracelets will fit you nicely. You can specify your wrist circumference in either centimeters or inches. Please also specify whether you prefer your bracelet a little looser or tighter.

    For example:

If you don't have a measuring tape, use a piece of string to measure your wrist and lay the string back out on a ruler to get your measurement in inches or centimeters
